MAHARANI KANTHA COAT RED

Our beautiful Maharani Coats are one of a kind. Each coat has been created from a collection of divine vintage embroidered Silk and cotton saris pieced together. They are backed in plain cotton which has been quilted with rows of stitches (kantha work).

Kantha work is the layering together of vintage sari fabrics which are then hand stitched together in wonderful, colourful arrays. 

Handmade with love in India. Imperfections are not considered a fault, they add to the character of this fabulous one-off. 

Measurements (APPROX):

Bust - 70cm across / 140cm around 

Length -  106cm (collar to hem)

Arm width -  20cm across /  40cm around

Arm length -  90cm (collar to cuff)

Model size 14. I would recommend up to a size 14 for this particular coat.

Fabrication: 100% Cotton 

Care Instructions: Dry cleaning recommended. Hand wash in cold water. Do not soak.
